Remastered GTA Trilogy Available For Buy On PC Again
Three days after releasing Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition from PC sales, Rockstar Games says players can once again purchase bulk in that arena. The publisher has used the redesigned collection from the Rockstar Games launcher store "to delete some of the unwanted data files from new versions of these games."
The publisher apologized for the inconvenience and said it would "improve and update overall performance as we move forward." Many players have criticized the latest versions of GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas, and some have shared screenshots and videos of various problems with bugs. They also expressed their displeasure at Metacritic, where they had reviewed the explosion of the collection - the combined user scores are currently less than one in 10 across the arena.
Shortly after the release of the trilogy last week, Rockstar Games Launcher was removed from the internet for what the publisher said were reasons to save. That means those who bought the collection could not play its three games for more than a day, and Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online were also out of work until Rockstar returned the service on Friday evening.

But some players have asked for a refund
Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy Definitive Edition Rockstar Games
After a delay of about 72 hours, Rockstar Games finally made Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition playable and re-purchased on a PC.
Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy - Definitive Edition is also available with Rockstar Games Launcher for playback and purchase. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, and work to improve and update all functionality as we move forward: https://t.Co/hAfEKqYS3o

"We are very sorry for the inconvenience, and we are working to improve and restore full functionality as we move forward," Rockstar tweeted.
The Trilogy, which includes the updated versions of GTA III, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas, was only available on PC during the short window on its launch date on November 11. Rockstar Games Launcher went down that day, blocking anyone to play a lot of GTA on PC (or any other Rockstar games, for that matter). Rockstar returned the Launcher to the Internet on November 12 but noted that GTA: Trilogy was not available for purchase or play because Rockstar had to delete files that were "unintentionally included in these versions."
As for which files were deleted, it was probably related to unlicensed music files and a small "Hot Coffee" game. The Video Games Chronicle (VGC) reports that data miners have obtained code in the redesigned edition of Hot Coffee sex minigame that players can only access by mod in the first version of GTA San Andreas.
Despite this, the Federal Trade Commission fined Rockstar and Take-Two at the time for allegedly defrauding the ESRB - GTA San Andreas was originally rated as Mature, but the explicit Hot Coffee minigame would raise that rate for Adults Only. Rockstar released the M-rated San Andreas version out of the minigame but ended up losing $ 24 million after stores removed the AO version from their shelves.
Additionally, a separate report from VGC highlights data miners who claim to have found the "holy grail" of developer notes in updated games, as well as the large number of unlicensed music that engineers have left crippled. Any of this content may be Rockstar files downloaded.
What is Wtf? I have asked for a refund, expecting a refund. Not an attempt to stop the time in the hope that I will be happy that I can play this broken problem again. Pic.Twitter.Com/z6arNSpPFG

Now that Trilogy is back on PC, Rockstar will have to deal with growing complaints about its performance and graphics problems. Some players were so disappointed with the quality of the pile that they returned it before it could be played again. And as you can see in the tweet above, Rockstar is annoyingly sending out some players who have asked for a refund to make sure they don't really want the games.
Even the entire r / grandtheftauto subreddit has darkened to oppose the muddy release of The Trilogy, as well as Rockstar's removal of the original GTA trilogy from game stores like Steam. If you try to visit the subreddit, you will be met with this message:
It's dark to protest Rockstar / Take-Two lowers moders, pulls the Trilogy PC version into customer pay, pulls ALL PC headsets into paying customers 30 hours, removes original GTAs for sale (including 1/2 / 1969), allows Sony to deny it. Refund Trilogy, No official statements. Please do not blame moders for looking at files. Thanks to Grove Street Games for doing your best. Problems that players face with games are not separated from the PC version - problems and bugs plague games on all platforms. The actors are shocked by the appearance of some of the characters who are “re-imagined” with other graphic problems, such as the one causing the blind storms. Rockstar says it is working to improve the "full functionality" of the game in the future, but it may be too late.
